BOX - separate partitioned area in a public place for a few people (Brahma has a box in Sapucaí every year and only famous and important people are invited to stay there).
LOVE HANDLES - excess fat around the waist. ("Is it possible for Dave to lose his love handles?" ). That fat around the waist is also called spare tyre (US spare tire)
FOOSBALL TABLE -
Foosball is also known as table soccer, table football, babyfoot, or gettone. It is a table-top game based on soccer. Players attempt to use figures mounted on rotating bars to kick the foosball into the opponent's goal. (a game based on soccer that is played on a table with rows of small model players).
DODGEBALL - The rules of the game are very simple: Players are split into two teams, and several, very bouncy balls are placed in the court, usually in the middle of gym. When the game starts, players grab a ball and try to hit the opponent players below the waist. If the player is hit, he/she either exits the game or goes into a designated "jail cell" zone, depending on the rules. A team wins when all of its opponents are in the jail or exited from the game.

| Above: carbonated milk. |
Milk with Bubbles Trying to keep American kids clear of carbonated beverages may have just become a bit more difficult thanks to one new drink on the market - milk with bubbles. Called Refreshing Power Milk, or RPM for short, this beverage was created after seven years of experimentation to attract fans of soda. Available in three flavors - vanilla cappuccino, Brazilian chocolate and chocolate raspberry, RPM is essentially a powdered milk/water combination that has the nutritional value of skim milk.

» WHICH ONE? BIRTHDAY / ANNIVERSARY
"Anniversary" is the word used to describe the annually recurring date of a past event. This event may be of historical, national or personal importance.
My parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary last summer.
Several world leaders came to New York City to join in a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the U.N.
We use the word "birthday" to refer to the day of one's birth, i.e. the anniversary of one's birth.
The birthday of Abraham Lincoln is February 12 and George Washington's is on February 22.

Do you know which famous Irish holiday is celebrated today (March 17th) in Ireland and also in Canada and the USA?
SAINT PATRICK´S DAY : Let´s go for some green beer?
There is a famous parade in New York to celebrate this holiday. The parade marches up 5th Avenue, clan by clan, from 44th to 86th streets starting at noon on March 16th.
Saint Patrick’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day, holiday honoring Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It is celebrated annually on March 17, his feast day. Saint Patrick was a missionary in the 5th century ad who is credited with converting Ireland to Christianity. St. Patrick’s Day is a national holiday in Ireland. It is also celebrated by people of Irish descent in many other countries, especially by Irish Americans in the United States.
One popular St. Patrick’s Day tradition is wearing green clothing. Green, the national color of Ireland, symbolizes the island’s lush landscape. The main symbol associated with the holiday is the shamrock, a small three-leafed clover or clover-like plant. According to legend, St. Patrick used the shamrock, because of its three leaves, to explain the Christian doctrine of the Trinity to the Irish people. The shamrock is now the national emblem of Ireland.

"We declare our responsibility for what happened in Madrid exactly 2 1/2 years after the attacks on New York and Washington," said the man, according to a government translation of the tape, which was recorded in Arabic. "It is a response to your collaboration with the criminals Bush and his allies."

2. As the object of a preposition, referring to the subject:

The invention of ice cream is hidden by time and history - no one truly knows where it first appeared. Some say it was invented before 1,000 C.E. in China, during the Tang Dynasty, as a special treat for the emperor. In Europe, early reports place it on the table of King Charles II at Windsor Castle in 1671, where his guests could only watch and marvel at this royal dessert made exclusively for the king.

Walking is for losers ! Ride the Segway Transporter !
Americans ride this "Segway Transporter" in the streets. It is quite easy to learn how to balance yourself on the Segway transporter. In fact, the less you concentrate on balance, speed or direction, the easier it is to control the transporter. In few minutes, you manage to figure out how to speed up, slow down and steer the transporter. You don't have to lean forward or grip the handlebars to drive. Just look at where you want to go, and you're on your way.
